About Us

Gateway Christian School is sponsored by Gateway Baptist Church and was established in 1967 for ages three to five. In 1990, our license was changed to include infants and toddlers. Our school is a private non-profit corporation, licensed under the laws of the State of Florida. It is non-denominational, non sectarian, and yet DEFINITELY CHRISTIAN in its teachings and beliefs. Gateway Christian School is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International.

The Faculty and Staff of Gateway Christian School are selected on the basis of Christian character, teaching ability and scholastic achievements. Our teachers and other staff members meet all standards set by the State of Florida Department of Children and Families. The school follows state entry requirements regarding age.

• Our school colors are burgundy and gray.

• Our school mascot is the eagle.

• Our school verse is Isaiah 40:31.
